Pasta Math: Solved

Calculate portions needed for your number of guests.

Suggested amounts per person. Adjust for big appetites or if you want leftovers.

What are you serving?

Amounts for 4 people

  • Pasta (dry): 0.34 kg (or 340 g)
  • Meat / fish: 0.48 kg (or 480 g)
  • Vegetables: 0.4 kg (or 400 g)

Pasta math is impossible. You grab a handful, think 'that's not enough,' add more, and suddenly you're feeding an army. Or worse, you make rice for four and it's barely enough for two. This tool fixes that.

What Does This Tool Do?

It calculates how much raw food you need to buy or cook to feed a specific number of people. We use standard catering portion sizes (like ~85g dry pasta per person) so you don't over-shop or under-serve.

How to Use It (Step-by-step)

1

How many mouths are you feeding?

2

What's on the menu? (Pasta, Rice, Meat, Veggies).

3

Check the list. We'll tell you the total weight you need.

4

Buy that amount. Maybe add 10% if your friends are big eaters.

Key Features

  • Standard catering portions (tested on real humans).
  • Gives you totals in grams and kg.
  • Select only what you're cooking.
  • Great for shopping lists.
